HISTORY
The inception of the First Church of Brooklyn can be traced back to 1975 when it began in the humble living room of Sister Claisse Cangé, under the leadership of Pastor Willy Doriscar, who was originally from Port au Prince, Haiti.
Pastor Willy Doriscar received the message while under the guidance of Brother Nick Guick in 1969. Alongside Pastor Willy, the very first members of the church were Brother Gaston and his wife, their son Emmanuel, Sister Félhomme, Brother Michaud Derissaint, and Sister Mimose Perez. Brother Nick Guick oversaw the church at that time.
After Brother Willy Doriscar relocated to Florida, the assembly underwent a transition in leadership, with Brother Belony Verrier assuming the role for a period of time. Subsequently, the church came under the guidance of Pastor Jacques Auguste. However, in 2009, following the unfortunate passing of Pastor Jacques Auguste, the responsibility of leading the assembly was entrusted to Brother Michaud. Since then, Brother Michaud has remained dedicated as the unwavering overseer of the assembly, faithfully discharging his duties to this day.

VISION
Our vision is to establish a Ministry that comprehensively addresses the diverse needs of all individuals, encompassing matters of faith and social welfare. We aim to build a congregation that embraces multiculturalism and spans multiple generations, united in the mission of expressing unconditional love irrespective of personal backgrounds. Our objective is to reach out to non-Christians through the powerful proclamation of the Gospel and dedicated Evangelism. Additionally, we strive to equip the members of our church as they engage in church planting initiatives, while diligently preparing a community for the imminent return of Christ.

Our mission is to proclaim the transformative power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, bringing about a profound change in the lives of non-believers, leading them to faith, and nurturing their growth into devoted disciples. We are committed to cultivating an environment where believers are continuously transformed into active and dedicated followers of Christ, equipped to become mature and fruitful leaders. Through our efforts, we aspire to make a significant impact on the world, challenging the status quo and fostering a community that embraces all children of God.
